Your Nominating Committee - Kiki Leedy, Cindy Ackerman, and Susan Geers

Vicky Keith
Candidate for President
 (One year term)

Company and Job Title:  Principal, Vicky Keith Consulting
I have organized and run board meetings for the James Beard Foundation, French Culinary Institute, Make-a-wish Foundation, Provincetown International Film Festival, Cape Cod Economic Development Board, Packard Foundation and many more.  In addition, I have consulted large corporations in the areas of complex organizational change, strategy implementation and executive team behavior. I have worked at the executive level with such companies as Disney, IBM, GE, Darden Restaurants, Boston Scientific, McKesson, PepsiCo, AT&T, and Delta Airlines.

Our new affiliation with LPGA puts us in a unique position to raise our profile and visibility in the golf world, locally and nationally.  This is a perfect year to get additional high profile sponsorship, local and state-wide press and put us permanently on the map as THE women's golf organization to join in Fort Lauderdale.  As chapter president, I will guide the board in setting the vision and goals for the year and mobilize our contacts to execute against those target goals.

Jackie Grady
Candidate for Special Events Director
     (Two year term)

Company and Job Title:  Managing Attorney and Owner

I have been a member of the Ft Lauderdale chapter of LPGA Amateur Golf Association for over 1 year. Upon joining the organization, I became a Birdie Sponsor.

I have served on several non-profit's Board of Directors.  I started a non-profit to donate used bicycles to those in need. I've been practicing law for over 18 years and started my own office 2 ½ years ago.   Grady Legal now has 2 office locations in Lighthouse Point and Vero Beach.

I would like to explore what type of event opportunities exist to increase membership as well as visibility within the golf community.  I also see Events and Activities as a way to promote the organization and attract more people into the game of golf.

Kathy Burke
Candidate for Finance & Records Director
 (Two year term)

Company and Job Title: Finance and Tax Consultant

I have been a member of the EWGA Fort Lauderdale Chapter for the past year.  I have served as Co-Captain of the Broward Summer League and served on the event committee for the Tournament for the Cure.

I am really looking forward to contributing to the organization by using my finance background.  I have also participated with other non-profits to help achieve success for those organizations.  I feel I have been graciously accepted by the organization and would like to give back by fulfilling the Treasurer position.

LaJuan Messer
Candidate for Member Services Director
(Two year term)

Company and Job Title:  Seacoast Bank, Senior Vice President, Market Manager

I have been a member for the past year and have served on the golf committee.  In addition, I have served on several non-profits including Commercial Real Estate Women, Board of Junior Achievement, United Way, Public Radio and Guardian Ad Litem.

I would love to help increase the friendliness factor at all golf events and I would like to work with the Golf committee to insure all players are greeted and invited to participate with the organizers in the after golf socializing.

Thanks for participating and supporting our chapter!
