GOLF EDUCATION

You do not have to have a low handicap to participate in the golf activities that your Fort Lauderdale chapter membership has to offer.  Learn how to keep up with the pace of play and proper golf etiquette and you will be able to play with anyone.  Michelle Florea, Assistant Director of our Golf Programs and Services, sends out a golf newsletter and schedule every other Sunday so you can sign up for any of the golf outings.

BEGINNER GOLF

We have partnered with several professional golf instructors in Broward and S. Palm Beach County.  They provide private lessons and clinics that will improve your game. Click here for details.

Our Golf Director periodically arranges group clinics for our members with a local teaching professional. Look for these opportunities in our Sunday Golf News. This is a great way to meet other new members and feel comfortable out on the course.  For questions, contact: Golf@LPGAamateursFtLaud.com

MENTORING PROGRAM

Mentoring at Seven Bridges - a short executive length course in Sunrise - is an event that pairs intermediate level golfers with beginners who want to learn more about FUR (Frequently Used Rules), helpful tips about POP (Pace of Play), and the ever important BENICE (Player Etiquette). Each group will have one experienced, competitive-level player who will share their experiences in the SOHK (School of Hard Knocks). JOIN US!  Contact Celeste if interested in volunteering as a Mentor or as a participant at Golf@LPGAamateursFtLaud.com
